Imagery

The home for approved photography. An image is only approved once it is listed here with what it is for and who owns it — a file in a folder is not an approval, and “where did this come from” is a question that always gets asked later.

Rights are not optional. Every image records who owns it. No stock photo goes live without a licence recorded here, and no photo of a customer's home goes live without written permission from the homeowner — the site is a portfolio of other people's houses, which is a consent question before it is a design one.

A real photograph of a rip-out beats any illustration we can draw. The hero currently uses a drawn floor-stack diagram because there are no photos yet — replace it the day there are.

There are no photographs of real work yet, so the site runs on the drawn floor-stack diagram. That is a placeholder, and it is the single biggest improvement available to this brand right now.

Adding one

Add the entry to src/components/kit/imagery.json under approved with its rights line, drop the web variant in public/imagery/, and it appears above. Delivered web variants stay at or under 300 KB. Masters over ~2 MB live outside git; the manifest records where.
